Torrent is proud to release what we feel are the best 2-stroke engines on the market today. We stated working with TPE from the start back in 2012 in Virginia Beach. What originally was a quest for more reliability, more power, and better overall pump performance has now blossomed into our Torrent Performance Engines.
We will be slowly rolling out the new motor line including the TPE sizes below. We have a lot of changes in store for the current product line to offer even more reliability, more performance, and greater communication for parts and service.
TPE Yamaha 62T based sizes:
964 cc stock stroke, we feel the best overall stoke stroke motor ever produced. Unparalleled surf performance and longevity, and able to flat water flip. From linear surf power delivery to unparalleled performance for flat water. All available from one custom tunable motor.
1021 cc 4mm stroker performance for the ultimate in surf, or flat water performance.
900 cc 4mm motors available in Competition Only CO format.
1105 cc 10mm stroker performance. From B-piped setups to wet or dry lay down pipes, this set up will satisfy any rider. This motor has more power than most other 1200s if set up properly. This motor is so efficient we found it uses less fuel than most other motors available. This can be de-tuned to ride smaller surf, if you have the strength to hang on!
1200 cc 16mm stroke motor is available in three stages. Competition Only versions are available in A, B, C porting packages. C being the highest and requiring special altered intake and exhaust manifolds customized to the rider and hull.
